RİSK KÜLTÜRÜNÜN KARAR VERME SÜRECİNE ETKİSİ

Öz

Bu
araştırmanın amacı, Gaziantep organize sanayi bölgelerinde(GOSB) faaliyet
gösteren işletme yöneticilerinin sahip oldukları risk kültürü seviyesi ile
karar verme süreci arasındaki ilişkiyi inceleyerek, risk kültürünün karar verme
sürecine etkisini ortaya çıkarabilmektir. GOSB‘de çalışan 147 yöneticinin
katılımı ile gerçekleştirilen araştırmadan elde edilen verilere korelasyon ve
regresyon analizleri uygulanması sonucu ortaya çıkan bulgulara göre: Risk
kültürü ile karar verme süreci arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ve pozitif
bir ilişki bulunduğu, risk kültürünün karar verme sürecini anlamlı düzeyde
açıkladığı ve pozitif yönde etkilediği görülmüştür. Araştırmada ayrıca risk
kültürünün alt boyutlarından karar verme, formalleşme, odaklanma ve risk algısı
boyutlarının karar verme süreciyle anlamlı ve pozitif bir ilişkiye sahip olduğu
ve karar verme sürecini anlamlı seviyede açıkladığı görülmüştür. Karar verme
sürecini açıklamada en yüksek etkiyi alt boyutlardan karar verme boyutunun
gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar ışığında işletmelerin
risk yönetiminden sorumlu üst düzey yöneticilerin risk kültürü bilinç
seviyelerinin artışına paralel olarak karar verme sürecinin daha etkili ve
verimli olacağı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
