Hollanda Hastalığı: Gelişmekte Olan Ülkeler Üzerine Bir Uygulama

Öz

Özellikle gelişmekte olan ülkeler için önemli bir finansal kaynak olan işçi dövizlerinin büyük değerlere ulaşması araştırmacıların dikkatini çekmektedir. Bununla birlikte işçi dövizlerinin Hollanda hastalığına neden olacağının literatürde geniş kabul görmesi, konunun önemini bir kat daha artırmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı da, işçi dövizlerinin Hollanda hastalığı problemine sebep olup olmadığını sorgulamaktır. Panel veri modellerinden sabit etki ve araç değişken yöntemlerinin tercih edildiği çalışma sonucunda Hollanda hastalığının varlığını doğrulayan kanıtlara ulaşılmıştır.
