Burcu Akdeniz is a faculty member at Department of Recreation Management, Dumlupinar University, Kutahya. She studied Translation and Interpretation (English) at Hacettepe University, Ankara (1998-2003). Later, she studied Public Administration at Anadolu University, Eskişehir (2003-2007). She received her master’s degree in public administration at Dumlupinar University, Kütahya (2013). She received her PhD degree in Business Administration at Dumlupinar University (2018). Her research involves management, organization and organizational behavior, specifically crisis management, organizational culture, occupational safety culture and career theories. She has been working as an academician at Dumlupinar University since 2003.
