Abstract

In the rapidly growing and developing world economy, the export of technologyintensive goods as the engine of growth is remarkable. To this end, countries are trying to maintain and increase their share in the export market by successfully increasing their competitiveness in highly productive industries in the era of global competition. The added value in exports is closely related to the quality of the products subject to export, and advanced technology production is the factor that enables the production of high value-added products. Increasing the added value of the products exported through innovation and R & D activities and the exportation of these goods provide a significant source of financing growth and development for countries following export-based growth strategies.
The purpose of this study, the exports to the economic growth of the keystones of indirect foreign investment in increasing the added value of high-tech products, and energy consumption and to emphasize the importance of carbon emissions and make a situation analysis in Turkey with the BRICS countries. For this purpose, the international markets are in the position of Turkey's rivals and quite similar to show that the BRICS countries and advanced technology exports to Turkey of the macroeconomic situation, foreign direct investment, energy consumption and analysis based on data for a certain period was intended to demonstrate the effect on the targeted economic growth of carbon emissions. For these 6 countries, cointegration analysis was conducted with the data obtained from the World Bank database and whether the variables were related to growth was analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it was revealed that there is a cointegration relationship between the variables.
