Öz

Bu araştırmanın amacı, öğretmenlerin motivasyonel dindarlık algı düzeyleri ile örgütsel adalet algı düzeyleri arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek ve bu değişkenlerin demografik faktörlere göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterip göstermediğini ortaya koymaktır. Öğretmenlerin motivasyonel dindarlık düzeyleri ile örgütsel adalet algıları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek hem bireysel psikolojik süreçleri hem de örgütsel yapıları daha iyi anlaşılmasına katkı sağlayacaktır. Bu yönüyle çalışma, bireyin içsel değer sistemi ile örgütsel yapıların nasıl kesiştiğini anlamak açısından özgün bir yaklaşım sunmaktadır. Bu araştırma, nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden ilişkisel tarama modeli ile desenlenmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemi, Ankara ili Mamak ilçesinde Anadolu liselerinde görev yapan toplam 310 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Örneklem, basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak belirlenmiştir. Bu yöntem, çalışmaya katılacak bireylerin evrenden eşit olasılıkla seçilmesini sağlamış ve bulguların genellenebilirliğini artırmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, öğretmenlerin motivasyonel dindarlık düzeyleri ile örgütsel adalet algıları arasında pozitif yönlü ve anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur (r = .42, p < .01). Özellikle “Tanrı ile güven ilişkisi” boyutu ile dağıtımsal adalet algısı arasında daha güçlü bir ilişki saptanmıştır. Demografik değişkenler açısından incelendiğinde, motivasyonel dindarlığın cinsiyete göre anlamlı şekilde farklılaştığı; kadın öğretmenlerin daha yüksek düzeyde motivasyonel dindarlık algısına sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Örgütsel adalet algısı ise cinsiyet, yaş, eğitim durumu ve kıdeme göre anlamlı farklılık gösterirken, aynı kurumda geçirilen süreye göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermemiştir. Sonuçlar, içsel dini motivasyonun örgütteki adalet algısını olumlu yönde etkileyebileceğini ortaya koymaktadır. Bu doğrultuda, eğitim kurumlarında adalet temelli liderlik uygulamalarının geliştirilmesi ve özellikle genç ve az kıdemli öğretmenlere yönelik destekleyici yapılar oluşturulması önerilmektedir.

INVESTIGATING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TEACHERS’ PERCEPTIONS OF MOTIVATIONAL RELIGIOSITY AND ORGANIZATIONAL JUSTICE PERCEPTIONS

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between teachers' levels of motivational religiosity and their levels of perceived organizational justice, and to determine whether these variables show a significant difference based on demographic factors. Examining the relationship between teachers' levels of motivational religiosity and their perceptions of organizational justice will contribute to a better understanding of both individual psychological processes and organizational structures. In this respect, the study offers a unique approach to understanding how an individual's internal value system intersects with organizational structures. This research was designed using the correlational survey model from quantitative research methods. The sample of the study consists of a total of 310 teachers working in Anatolian high schools in the Mamak district of Ankara. The sample was determined using the simple random sampling method. This method ensured that the individuals participating in the study were selected with equal probability from the population and increased the generalizability of the findings. According to the research findings, a positive and significant relationship was found between teachers' levels of motivational religiosity and their perceptions of organizational justice (r = .42, p < .01). In particular, a stronger relationship was found between the “trust relationship with God” dimension and the perception of distributive justice. When examined in terms of demographic variables, motivational religiosity was found to differ significantly by gender; female teachers were found to have a higher level of perceived motivational religiosity. Perceived organizational justice showed significant differences by gender, age, educational status, and seniority, but did not show a significant difference based on the length of time spent in the same institution. The results reveal that internal religious motivation can positively influence the perception of justice within the organization. In this regard, it is recommended that justice-based leadership practices be developed in educational institutions and that supportive structures be created, especially for young and less senior teachers.
