DİJİTAL ÇAĞDA YENİ BİR GİRİŞİMCİLİK YAKLAŞIMI: DİJİTAL GİRİŞİMCİLİK

Abstract

Dijital
teknolojinin girişimciliğe yansıması olarak tanımlanan dijital girişimcilik,
son zamanlarda iş dünyasında popüler bir kavram olarak kullanılmaya
başlanmıştır. Dijital girişimcilik, yeni dijital teknolojiler kullanarak yeni
girişimler yaratmak veya mevcut işletmeleri dönüştürmek olarak
tanımlanmaktadır. Sosyal medya, mobil internet, büyük veri analitiği ve bulut
teknolojileri gibi dijital teknolojilerin ticari fırsatlar yaratmak, bilgi
yaymak, müşteriler ve ortaklar ile işbirliği yapmak için araç olarak
kullanıldığı dijital girişimcilik, ekonomik büyüme, istihdam olanakları ve
yenilikçiliğe katkı sağlamak açısından önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu araştırmada
dijital girişimciliğin ortaya çıkışı, gelişimi, tanımı ve türlerinden sonra,
dijital girişimcileri geleneksel girişimcilerden farklılaştıran karakteristik
özelliklerin ortaya konulması amaçlanmıştır. Ayrıca, diğer çalışmalardan farklı
olarak Dünya’dan ve Türkiye’den güncel dijital girişim örnekleri sunulmuştur. 1990’lı
yılların sonlarına doğru özellikle Amerikan kökenli şirketlerde ortaya çıkan
dijital girişimciliğin Türkiye’de 2000 yılından sonra çeşitli sektörlerde yaygınlaşmaya
başladığı sonucuna varılmıştır.
