1- Preliminary Review: The work is reviewed by the editor for compliance with journal publication principles, academic writing rules, and the APA System.
2- Field Editor Review: Work that passes the Preliminary Review stage is reviewed by the relevant field editor for academic language and style.
3- Academic Evaluation Process: Manuscripts that pass the field editor's review are submitted to two peer reviewers.
4- Criteria for Acceptance or Rejection: Our reviewers are asked to assign one of four different decisions defined in the system (Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, Reject) regarding the manuscript. In accordance with our journal's publication policy, each decision is assigned a point value. These points are as follows.
Accepted 1
Minor Revision 0.75
Major Revision 0.25
Rejected 0
As a result of our two peer reviews, the point value;
Studies above 1 are ‘Accepted’. However, the corrections requested by the reviewer(s) must be made by the author.
Studies with a score of 1 are sent to a third reviewer. Studies where the third reviewer's decision is ‘minor revision or acceptance’ are accepted. If the decision is otherwise, they are rejected.
Studies with a score below 1 are ‘Rejected’.
